Join The City of Sparks This Weekend As The North Pole Takes Over!

The City of Sparks is Hosting their Hometowne Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting as the North Pole takes over!


Join your local community for Their Annual Christmas Parade, come down early to get a photo with Santa or hang out afterward and see 39 North Pole with its light displays, food, entertainment, and crafters' village!


THEN come on down to the large gazebo on the corner of Victorian Avenue and Victorian Plaza Circle East for live entertainment and FREE hot chocolate! Mayor Ed Lawson will flip the switch to Light the City’s Permanent living Christmas tree, a 60-foot blue spruce.


1. Parade Day Activities: 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

2. Santa Photos at 39 North, presented by Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

3. Sparks Hometowne Christmas Parade, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

4. 39 North Pole, 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

5. Tree Lighting, 6:30pm
